World Championship Snowmobile Derby to Stream Live on Speed51.com

Speed51.com has been “100% Short Track Racing” since the site debuted in 2001. In the 17 years since, Speed51.com has covered the biggest short track races on pavement and dirt, including the Snowball Derby, Chili Bowl, Oxford 250, Race of Champions, Super DIRT Week, Winchester 400, Winter Showdown and many more. But this January 19-21, Speed51.com will be doing something it has never done before.

Speed51.com will be streaming a live pay-per-view for the 55th Country Cat World Championship Snowmobile Derby in Eagle River, Wisconsin at the legendary Derby Track.

Snowmobile fans across the world can watch all three days of action from Eagle River for a special price of $49.99. Fans can also purchase each individual day of action for just $19.99.

“We are really honored to have Speed51 here at the 55th Anniversary of the Country Cat World Championship Snowmobile Derby,” said Chuck Decker, owner of the World Championship Snowmobile Derby. “We have followed Speed51’s live streaming of stock car racing for years and know the professionalism and insight they have on racing. We want our fans to have access to all of the races taking place on track throughout the 55th Anniversary and Speed51 seemed like the perfect fit for our fans who will be tuning.”

“This is an exciting opportunity for Speed51.com,” said Speed51.com’s Executive Editor, Bob Dillner. “We were presented with this opportunity and we jumped at it because we’ve never done anything like this at Speed51.com. From everything we have learned about this event, it seems like it is going to be an incredible weekend and we are proud to be able to bring this to snowmobile racing fans around the world.”

The event will take place at the half-mile banked purpose-built facility owned by the Decker family in Eagle River, Wisconsin, just over an hour north of Wausau, Wisconsin.
