Jimmy Johns’s Friday Night Thunder
55TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SNOWMOBILE DERBY
In the late 1980’s the World Championship Snowmobile Derby began a rockin’ tradition under the lights on Friday night where the stars of snowmobile racing came out at the world’s most famous snowmobile race track! The show began as powerful in its opening ceremonies as the Daytona 500 with chest pounding fireworks, the National and Canadian Anthem that gave fans goose bumps, and the silenced crowd during the Color Guard. When the first race hit the ice oval, the fans were rockin’ along to the thunder of sleds and music. The energy stayed high until the final checkered flag of the night.
For the 55th Anniversary of the World Championship Snowmobile Derby, Jimmy John’s Friday Night Thunder will continue the rockin’, thunderous event on the evening of January 19, 2018. Jimmy John’s Owner and Founder, Jimmy John Liautaud sums it up this way: “Jimmy John’s rocks, our franchise owner’s rock, our team rocks, our customer’s rock. America rocks. Let’s all keep rockin’.”
Jimmy John’s is Where Fresh and Fast Meet™. At Jimmy John’s, all-natural meats and fresh veggies are hand sliced daily, homemade bread is baked fresh all day, and tasty sandwiches are made in 30 seconds – that’s Freaky Fast! ® Jimmy John’s believes if you aren’t going to do things first class, don’t do them at all. Since founding the company in 1983, Jimmy John Liautaud‘s goal isn’t to be the biggest, it’s to be the best; which is parallel with snowmobile racers, fans, and sponsors that attend the world-famous Derby Track. Taking the hardest tasks for one-self, coming in early, staying late, and leading by example; this is how Jimmy John’s makes it happen and this is how the next World Champion gets crowned. These are just a few reasons why Jimmy John’s is the perfect match for the Sweet Sixteen World Champion Pole Position Race during Jimmy John’s Friday Night Thunder, because the Champ racer’s goal is to be the best – to be the next World Champion.
